Editorial Policy

This page explains how the articles on Tagbloom are chosen, written, checked and corrected. We think readers are entitled to know how content is made, so we have tried to be plain and honest about it.

Last updated: 5 October 2026.

What we publish

Tagbloom publishes practical guides about tags, hashtags, keywords, captions and related basics for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, plus some general strategy articles that apply across platforms. Our aim is to answer one clear question per article, in plain English, with steps a reader can follow the same day. We write for beginners and small creators in particular. We do not publish news, gossip, reviews of other tools, or content that exists only to fill space.

Who publishes Tagbloom

Tagbloom is published by an independent owner-operator. Articles are credited to the Tagbloom Editorial Team. In practice this is a very small team of one person, so we do not show a personal byline, photo or credentials that we cannot back up. You can reach us at any time through the Contact page, and our About page explains the project.

How articles are made

Our articles are written using a mix of tools and human review. We use writing tools, including AI-assisted drafting, to help produce first drafts and to organise ideas. The site owner then reviews and edits the text, checks it against the sources described below, removes anything that cannot be supported and decides whether it is fit to publish. AI tools can make mistakes, and for that reason no article is published purely on the output of a tool.

We do not invent authors, credentials, personal experience, testimonials, case studies or statistics. When an article includes a worked example, it is clearly labelled as hypothetical, and it does not show real results. We write as Tagbloom, not as a made-up expert.

Accuracy and sources

When an article mentions a platform rule or limit, we start with the platform's own official Help Centre pages, because they are the most reliable source available. We phrase such statements cautiously, for example "as of this writing", because platforms change their rules often and sometimes roll out changes gradually. Where we are not sure about a detail, we say that rules change and tell the reader to check the Help Centre, rather than guessing.

We also follow these rules.

  • We do not make up numbers, such as search volume, competition scores, average engagement or percentages.
  • We do not promise views, followers, reach, sales or income.
  • We write original text, and we do not copy other websites.
  • We do not quote or reproduce platform text or logos beyond what is needed to describe a topic.
  • Where a claim is unproven, such as whether a particular placement of hashtags helps, we say that it is unproven.

Updates and corrections

Because platform guidance changes, we review articles from time to time and update them when we find something out of date. We care about getting things right, and we welcome corrections. If you notice a mistake, an outdated rule or a confusing explanation, please email infotagbloom@gmail.com and tell us which page it is on. If you can point us to the official source, that helps us act faster. When we confirm an error, we correct the page as soon as we reasonably can. You can also use our Contact page.

Independence from advertisers

Tagbloom is free to use and may show advertising in future, including through Google AdSense. Advertising is kept separate from our editorial content. Advertisers do not choose our topics, review our drafts or influence what we say, and we do not accept payment to change, add or remove statements in an article. If we ever publish sponsored content, we will label it clearly. We are not affiliated with Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube or Google, so our views of those platforms are not shaped by them either.

Our limits

We are a small independent project, not a newsroom. We cannot test every feature on every account type or in every country, and what we describe may not match what you see in your own app. Please read our Disclaimer for more on the limits of our content.
